Sennheiser MM 30i Ear-Canal Headset Review

Sennheiser is well-known for their premium earphones and headsets. I have owned a pair of MM 30i ear-canal headsets for over a year and although it took me a couple of weeks to wear in the earbuds which started out a bit stiff, they remain a reliable, super-comfortable set that I regularly pull out for listening to audio books and when watching a TV series or film on a tablet for multiple hours at a time.

The MM 30i retails for about £30-35 on Amazon (£49.99 elsewhere) and provides good value for money. It is a reliable, durable product guaranteed to last for at least 2 years. The wired design is a convenient choice for plug-and-play without the need to pair or link up and can be used for video/audio calls as well as media consumption.

Convenient and comfortable, the MM 30i is a good quality headset that provide decent sound quality at a good market price.

I retain a preference for wired ear-canal headsets when at home. They offer the convenience of instant connection to different devices and I can plug it over from my phone to my tablet in a matter of seconds to switch from an audio book to watching a movie in bed. Sennheiser’s MM 30i Ear-Canal Headset offers good sound quality with particularly clear vocals and speech, the mic works well and background noise is eliminated very well with its noise cancelling feature.

It is a durable, premium headset perfect for everyday and all-day use with a comfortable fit and great sound quality within this price range. Highly recommended.

The review is based on the Sennheiser MM 30i Ear-Canal Headset wired earphones purchased in December 2014.

  1. […] wired buds of choice was the good quality Sennheiser MM30i set that I was perfectly happy with (their review here). I never concidered upgrading because I couldn’t justify the jump in price from under £30 […]
