Sativa manufactures a range of bags, wallets and rucksacks made out of ethically sourced hemp and organic cotton. Sizes range from small, single pocket bags to a good size daybag backpack. Most of the bags have multiple pockets and fastenings include magnetic clasps, zips and straps. The bags are lightweight, about 200g – 870g and made from sustainably sourced hemp and organic cotton.

The Shoulder Bag in particular caught my eye. It 27 x 27 x 7cm, just big enough to fit essentials, including a Kindle and a water bottle, but not so big as to be cumbersome to carry. It has 7 compartments, 3 secured with zippers on the outside – no flipping open to access anything and a percentage of each sale will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Sativa is a London based company, but do not manufacture their own products within the U.K. and sell to consumers worldwide. Merchandise is shipped not flown to reduce the environmental impact of transporting goods across the globe. It is a company with a comprehensive Environmental Policy, that includes ethical and sustainable sourcing, manufacturing processes and business practices.
