Sony last night announced at their E3 press conference that the PS4 will be available ‘this Christmas holiday season’ at least in the US, EU and the UK with a retail price of £349 in the UK €399 in the EU and $399 in the US. A specific release date has not been revealed but the smart money is on it being November to match the Xbox One.
The PS4 was previewed last month at a Sony press conference and the box and more titles were shown off at last nights E3 conference. Sony has also let us know that the the DualShock 4 controller will be available for $59 in the US but an expensive £89 ($138) in the UK. The PS4 is not to include the camera module, now known as the PlayStation Camera, but has not confirmed release date or prices.
