Ergohacks launched in 2013 as a highly curated technology and design review site. Our mission is to prove that by buying fewer, better things, we can make life better, be healthier, save time and money in the long run and have a much smaller environmental footprint. We focus on products that are durable, reliable, useful and sustainably made to last.

The things we invest in should make life better. They should solve problems, open new doors and add value to life. We’re always looking for products and services that offer new solutions to old problems and ways of doing things better.

We find the best of everything

Our focus is not on a particular type of product – we’ve done tents, lights, games, drones, coats, boots, toothpaste, tea, VR headsets, restaurants, virtual assistants, recipe boxes, socks, printers, bags, cameras, projectors, lunchboxes and more.
We have only one criterion – we look for products that solve everyday problems – ideally in a durable, sustainable, ethical way.

Who are we

Meet Chris, Lily and Cass. Based near Stonehenge, we work from a modest home office (i.e. the living room). We’re starting small – there’s just us three (or maybe two and a half – Cass is only seven).

We’re a small family who would like to prove that it’s possible to live a life of substance and meaning. We have many demands on our time, energy and financial resources as we’re heavily impacted by the challenges of chronic illnesses, but we think that the optimum route to a simple, happy life is through the products we use and the places we visit.

We’re on a mission to discover new and better ways that make life run smoothly. Life should be an adventure, not a chore.

The reviews we write and the places we recommend are our frank and honest opinion honed and shaped by personal experience. We visit every place, sample a selection of all the food and use every product personally.
