The Naidex National Exhibition is the largest disability, mobility and independent living event in the UK and is opening its doors at The NEC in Birmingham today. Tickets are free and the event will run over the next three days 29 April – 1 May 2014.
Over three hundred exhibitors will be showing off over a 1000 products. It is a wide range of equipment ranging from smaller items like the Trabasack that we reviewed very favourably to larger items like adapted vehicles and accessible motor-homes and everything in between.
Although parking charges apply to Blue Badge holders at The NEC, for the duration of this event, Blue Badge holders will be entitled to free parking.
Tickets are still available and if you are in the vicinity of Birmingham, it’s a great opportunity to meet the people behind the equipment and get some hands-on experience with products and aids. There are also a host of seminars and features, including 32 square metres of Interactive Sensory Spaces.
Even if you cannot attend, all products showcased are listed on the Naidex website and its a wonderful collection of some of the most innovative and exciting independent living equipment available.
