Tricella’s Liif is a NFC and Bluetooth enabled pill-box that keeps track of your medication and sends an alert to a smartphone when doses have been missed and when it is time to take your medication. It can also send alerts to family members so they can help remind you if you forget to take your medication.
I can see multiple excellent uses for the Liif pill box. It is obviously a great tool for anyone with a family member who requires daily medication but forgets to take them. It is also just generally useful for anyone who takes regular medication. I think it could also be a great way to keep track of things like pain medication that are taken regularly, but should not be taken too often.
There are two designs. The Liif Today has 4 boxes and will be priced at $59.99 and the Liif This Week has 7 boxes and will be priced at $74.99 The Tricella hub, regularly priced at $119.99 is not required for use with a smartphone with Bluetooth 4.0, but it does connect online via wifi or an ethernet cable to offer a solution for anyone who does not own a smartphone.
Liif can be pre-ordered now and will be shipping later this year.
