Acorns Guest House is an attractive airport hotel excellently situated one minute away from Bristol Airport. We had an early flight out and arrived around 5 p.m. where we were checked-in, our car parking arranged and our airport transfer booked for 4 a.m. All rooms are en-suite. Some are situated within the main house whilst others are located in a quiet annex close by.

Acorns Guest House is a small hotel not directly under Bristol airport’s flight path and we had a quiet night both before our flight out and on our return with very little noise from guests arriving or departing. The rooms were immaculately clean with a quality finish and most importantly, the en-suite bathroom had a hot shower with fresh towels and beds were very comfortable. Additional sleeping arrangements was not quite as well provided with a mattress on the floor for our daughter on our first night and a pull-out couch that had seen much use on our second.
Breakfast is not included – and this is made clear prior to booking – which suited us well as we didn’t feel as if we were paying for a complimentary breakfast we would not be enjoying due to an early flight. A travel snack is left in the rooms that contained a carton of juice, individually wrapped brioche roll and cereal breakfast bar as well as plenty of coffee and tea next to the kettle.
Acorns Guest House offers everything I would expect from an airport hotel to a good standard. Recommended for an overnight stay before an early flight out or when flying back in at an unsociable hour.
